Well,

the bearded jock has just turned down Sunderland and it just shows Bain for what he is a clown like Short.

I do not want a jock give it to a local lad who knows what it means to be born by the banks of the Wear

Phil Brown a South Shields lad, Colin Todd not just a footballer but a God who captained Sunderland when he was a teenager

The club is a laughing stock with Bain and Short in charge so please come from the Fatherland and take over please Guten Tag.

We are a laughing stock! . AGAIN! . what a shambles this club is in! we can't even attract Mcinnes! . its about time Bains should go! typical of this club Bains has spent 4 weeks pursuing his main target without any back up or the fact we are 2 weeks away from pre season 3 from our first friendly no signings and worst of all no direction! Auf Wedersehen to promotion!

14 Jun 2017 21:04:24
Well it looks like the bearded jock is going to be appointed new manager.
Unfortunately it looks as though this German buy out is not going to happen.

Surely even stupid Bain and Short would not appoint a new manager if new owners are coming in because they would want to choose their own manager

Mcinnes should shave off his beard and stick it on Bain's bald head so he would look better because he was a male model previously you know even though it is hard to believe.

Is this club completely bonkers? Rumours of moving training facilities to London. Sunderland are the Co Durham team because that River Wear starts in Upper Weardale and meanders its way through Co Durham to Sunderland.

We need to go the same route as Athletico Bilbao in Spain who were founded by Sunderland Supporters.

Instead of wasting money on second rate foreigners just give local lads a chance to play for Sunderland who knows what it means to put on the red and white stripes.

When Sunderland have been successful like 1973 70% of the squad was North East Born.

The great players who have come from the North East Raich Carter, Colin Todd,Bobby Charlton, Bryan Robson we do not need foreigners who think it is too cold.

Well how long is Wurzel Gummidge going to remain as Sunderland Head Coach.

The man is an absolute disaster and another Short decision nightmare.

It is embarrasing to see him, hear him speak which I can barely understand.

Why does Advocaat not have a translator so we can understand what he is saying or better still make the translator head coach.

The reason Van Anholt has not been dropped is because he is Dutch like Wurzel Gummidge and that can be the only reason.

Come on Short have another go to pick a new Head Coach and maybe this time you will get it right.

1.) 28 Sep 2015 23:22:38
if DA goes then surely Shorts position will become untenable!. how many more managers Ellis??

03 Aug 2015 21:22:37
Well Conor has signed for Palace so time to move on.

I believe that the new striker and hopefully we will sign one is Ballotelli.

He has the proven pedigree as a striker and his goal record is very good.

Advocat hopefully is the manager who can get the best out of him because he has the talent.

One of the main problems with strikers in the Premier League is playing a sole striker.it is very difficult to play on your own and I think with Cattermole and hopefully the new signing M'Vila we have the two holding midfield players which allows 4-2-4 to be played.

Therefore Ballotelli with Defoe up front is the answer.

dobermann

{Ed024's Note - There's more chance of me signing for Sunderland than Balotteli - that's less a rumour, a more of a bad fantasy.}

1.) 03 Aug 2015 22:14:40

2.) 03 Aug 2015 22:58:49
Doberman, words fail me,what's your next pearls of wisdom, sign joey Barton.?

3.) 03 Aug 2015 23:12:46
Ed more chance of Elvis playing for us than Balotelli! lol

4.) 04 Aug 2015 00:19:40
I think we have a good chance in signing pato do u think we need to bolster any other positions after striker or will our window be done after we get a striker

5.) 04 Aug 2015 00:25:44
Mvila an Fer are not guaranteed yet - but without doubt we also need a proven forward. If we achieve that I don't think we can complain.

6.) 04 Aug 2015 07:22:39
If you were actually a Dobermann you should be put down. Ballotelli!!. Wickham good!!!

Really disappointed to see Jordan going because he is a local lad who knows what Sunderland mean to the local population

Regarding Asoro or arsesoro who says Arsenal want him get lost and go and give a local lad the opportunity to play for Sunderland. So arsesoro go and go now

Also I hope this German syndicate takes over and we can get rid of pock complexion Short and the bald Ceo your so vain Mr bain

The concern I have surely they would want to choose their own manager and it seems the scot wants to appoint another scot.

dobermann

1.) 15 Jun 2017 22:56:43
Well good luck to Jordan! as for Asro if we are letting our talent go why so cheap? £5 million? you are joking. it should be 3 times that! otherwise he stays! mind I don't blame both wanting to leave considering the state the club is in at present!

15 Dec 2016 20:16:37
Well Moyes has been lied to by Short and your so vain Mr Bain the former male model who is bald as a brick

The revelation that there is no money just shows we need to get pineapple facial complexion Short out of our club because it is going to ruin

Moyes has every right to walk out and he has made some serious errors but he has been set up

Short will never get his asking price with all the debt that has piled up through his incompetency and the half wits and sycophants he has surrounded himself with

Bain has to go as well because he is obviously out of his depth. To not realise already his commercial director Hutchinson is a clown who should have been sacked immediately

To watch a right back Jones who is not good enough for the Northern League play for Sunderland is a disgrace.

Steady eddie Billy as Moyes called him just shows how the club is disintegrating

Short is a joke which has been proved by journalists who have seen the 3 page prospectus for selling the club by some tosspots in New York who have described it as amateurish and he is asking £170 million plus you have to cover £140 million debt

I do hope we find a new buyer because if we are relegated Short will never get anywhere near the price he is asking for and the club will just drift aimlessly.

dobermann

1.) 16 Dec 2016 23:49:37
Now Kirchoff is out with a long term knee injury . this season is which started as a disaster now is a joke! the whole club is a laughing stock! what more can go wrong? I can see Moyes walking out after being promised funds and now being given them! surely Short should reailise if we are relegated firstly hell lose a lot more than hell save by not investing in Janurary? . and secondly Short won't get as much money with us in the Championship £140 million in debt! Its a no brainer?

2.) 20 Dec 2016 10:04:59
Our debt is far higher than 140mil in reality, you're forgetting the 130odd mil that short bailed quinny out of with his mismanagement of funds. Short backed moyes with all he had in the summer, honestly again what could he have done more? We're boned on ffp rules for wages, we can't spend more even if we want, hell we can't even bring our loan players back as we can't afford their wages. So how exactly is Short to even help this? Even with more investment THIS season we still can't spend more on wages, so what do you want him to do? Sell up and let someone else have a shot? Yeah they won't be able to DO anything either. I've said for the last few seasons that unless we get the wage bill down we're going to end up screwed, this is the end product. Until we go down and lose 90% of our players and rebuild an affordable team, this is never ever going to end. Bottom line here, we have too many players (and in our tiny squad that's insane) that are on too much wages, we're still paying wages to players who aren't even here anymore and this isn't going to change until our team does. That sadly will require relegation and an entire rebuilding of the squad.

Hello,

Why were we trying to buy Santon. Yedlin has unbelieveable pace and the kid is a battler. If we are not prepared to pay £5 million for Yedlin this is worrying.

This new Ceo a former male model who is as bald as a coot seems as though he is just a lapdog for Short.

We need rid of Short and a new owner who will spend real money to match the club's potential

The two milan clubs have been purchased by the chinese so a premier league club like Sunderland with fantastic support and a stadium to match will be sold easily.

Short is a recluse and recluses do not make good owners for a soccer club.

If Short continues his penny picking ways Sam will walk and we will be back to square one and Short needs to go ASAP.

Sunderland need a new CEO. The perfect choice would be Rob Andrew who has left the RFU.

A north east lad from Richmond and a Sunderland Supporter

A very distinguised Rugby legend and a qualified accountant would be the perfect choice as CEO for Sunderland to replace Margaret Byrne.

Used to dealing with player contracts etc and I believe he would jump at the chance. Over to you Ellis Short.

Think you are right Totali, one of the editors absolutely destroyed all banter on Sunderland rumours site, scathing insulting remarks to regular posters who were giving an opinion on all things Sunderland. Unfortunately the site is now dead on its feet, shame as we had some great banter and was a source for letting off steam, miss it myself.

{Ed003's Note - let some steam off again guys (within reason lol) }

2.) 06 Apr 2016 16:21:07
Yes I know the editor you mean. It's a realshame because I'd like to know what others think. In my opinion we have been playing well and I can't beleive how few points we have picked up.

3.) 07 Apr 2016 22:24:22
Yes we have played some nice football lately and still struggle to get a win. My own thoughts as to the cause of the situation is that we stuck with the rat pack for far too long and year after year it has been the same old story and same old struggle. I don't think we will get out of jail this time, hope I am wrong, but what the hell is going on when Norwich and similar teams are making us look second rate? It is not good enough and those responsible should be ashamed. A club like ours should be at least capable of mid table every season, but too many players either not good enough or taking the piss, take Johnson, fastest I have seen him run was outside the the crown court. At least that is one parasite out of our club. Feel a bit better now, good luck to our team and let's hope the banter gets going again.

{Ed007's Note - If any you lads fancy doing a bit of editing in your spare time and livening things a bit on here get in touch using the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page to get in touch with Ed001.}

4.) 13 Apr 2016 13:03:15
I think the players we brought in in January have done pretty well, but its hard to think of a player brought in over the previous three seasons who actually improved the team. Johnson, Rodwell and Fletcher never justified the price tag, and we took far too long to sign decent defenders to replace the ancient ones we had.

At the start of the season I looked up some figures on cash turnover and money spent on transfers. If that translated into a league position we would be seventh or eighth.

5.) 15 Apr 2016 21:40:49
Yes the players we brought in during Jan are better than we had but simply was not enough, six wins this season is a shocking stat. We are asking for a miracle now as we need to beat Norwich tomorrow, nothing less than a win will be good enough. This we ask from a team who have won only twice away this season. We dare not lose as we will never haul back a seven point lead from the Canaries. I am not confident as I did not see any of our players giving their absolute all last week, or am I wrong?, would like to hear our fans opinion on that one. Anyway, let's hope for a win tomorrow and give our supporters a great day.

6.) 28 Apr 2016 00:24:27
This was a great banter site that had loads of posters giving their views on our club. Bring it back for our enjoyment and bollocks to the editor who tried to destroy this banter site. Come back Bobby K and One Gary Rowell and the rest of the regular posters who made it an interesting night when we were giving our opinions on our club. Hope we can get this site buzzing again, start posting and let's get the interest back, just a couple of posts and we will get back to normal, do not be intimidated by one editor who simply insulted posters because he could. Do not let this editor destroy the good interesting banter we all enjoyed 7 days a week. Hope for some response from the regular posters of a few months ago.

{Ed033's Note - This web site is for talking about Sunderland AFC, but for some reason the posters decided to start talking about Ed002 instead.

I am seriously concerned about Big Sam team choices.

Surely it is time to introduce younger players and three in particular Chavrias Mavrias, Rees Greenwood and Lynden Gooch.

We need more pace in the team and picking Graham, Gomez, Jones is a total waste of time.

I watched the Man City game and Jones is pathetic and Yedlin needs to be first choice at right back. I would never let Jones kick another ball for Sunderland

Drop Fletcher and give Greenwood a go up front with Watmore and put the other two under 21's in midfield.

1.) 29 Dec 2015 02:13:39
Bfs probably on a big bonus to keep yer up most of the youngsters will sacrificed he only wants seasoned pros bfs loves his 451 system he is a stat man X amount off free kicks and corners converts into X amount of goals.
He ain't interested in pretty creative football once the transfer window opens he will change things around with players in and out according to his style .
It won't be pretty with team being set out not to lose and Nick wins.

I was appalled at the display yesterday against Stoke. How can you expect to win a Premier League game with two village idiots on your team Djilobodji and Love.

Borini should have been subbed at half time pathetic but would you want and Italian in the tranches when you need battlers

They are simply not good enough and who bought them Moyes.

Moyes must be sacked ASAP but it will not happen because of Bain and Short.

They did not even compete and I feel sorry for Januszai who is like a thoroughbred playing with selling platers

Short you poxy face give Sunderland back to the supporters and we will play Co Durham Lads who would walk to play for Sunderland and I can pick a team from the Northern league where my son plays

If you look at history the only time Sunderland have been successful a majority of the team were North East born 1973 70% of the squad was local

Get rid of all the foreigners who do not want to play for Sunderland and give local lads a chance who know what Sunderland mean to the local population would would give 110%

When I was leaving the premier concourse I noticed a portrait of Shack and Raich Carter what must they be thinking

I hope he does Roker Roar because the club is £138 million in debt through his stupidity and the clowns he has surrounded himself with

Who would have Margaret Byrne as a Ceo, Hutchinson as a Commercial Director and the latest appointment Bain a former male model who is bald as a brick. What was he modelling hairpieces

The man is a laughing stock and the sooner he sells the better and he can be a recluse Short as he has always wanted.

Your dead right lad about that. Also Provident Loans (Satsuma) are a new partner of Sunderland.

This is a company who loan £1000 and the interest is £914.90.These are poor people who take these loans so this is great publicity.

The former head barman Gary Hutchinson has negotiated this presumably with the blessing of the former male model who is as bald as a brick Martin Bain now Ceo

This is a utter disgrace just like the Mags with Wonga Wonga and again shows the idiots like Short who are running this club.

I am sick and fed up of Moyes and General Noriega facial complexion Short

The club is being run like a corner shop and Short being the recluse he is (Is he a recluse because of his bad complexion) needs to go back to Hawaii and his big council house and sell our club.

Moyes is simply not up to it as was proved by his tactical mistakes last Saturday.

he has signed two spotty faced kids from Manchester United who are way out of their class which was proved.

I hope Sunderland supporters turn against Short and being the coward / recluse he is he will sell and get rid of him and Moyes

Moyes was told to get Yedlin and Mvila but he has messed about and now he is going to sell our two centre halfs who are the bedrock of the team

This is all going to end in tears and Short needs to go NOW.

General Noriega pineapple complexion Mr Short has to go. He is a recluse so go and hide yourself away at your council house in Hawaii and sell the club to someone with ambition

I am sick and tired of his corner shop mentality and there must be potential owners out there.

It is a disgrace selling our best players to Everton when they have an old decrepit stadium unlike Sunderland and they can buy our best players.

So go now Short and take Moyes with you.

To prove just how bad a manager Moyes is that we have a village idiot playing right back steady eddie billy jones. Moyes had the chance to sign Yedlin who the supporters liked but he did not and we are left with a conman

Jones is not good enough to play northern league he is pathetic and it would be better to play a dustbin

Moyes is a dreadful, miserable manager and if he is not sacked there is no hope. Give a local lad a chance to manage Sunderland who knows what the club means to the local population in Co Durham, Tyne and Wear and I suggest Phil Brown or Martin Gray at Darlington.

When a team do not even try the manager's position is untenable but with poxy face Short and Baldy Bains it will not happen.

It is time for the supporters who are the club to rise up and drive the management and owner out of the club and start again

I could pick a Northern League team who would give 110%, who would walk to Sunderland to play for the club and give a better account than the dross who played yesterday

We need to get rid of Moyes, Pineapple face complexion Short and the former male model Ceo who is bald as a brick Baines

They have reduced Sunderland to be the butt of jokes by agents like Toure's at Man City saying Guardoila should go and manage Sunderland.

Moyes had the chance to sign Mario Ballottelli, Bendtner and he refused.

He let Lens go with no transfer fee, he is not playing three at the back like Sam did and refused to sign Yedlin.

He gets no sympathy for his stupid decisions and hopefully he will be gone. One point from six games is a joke and I think he has lost the dressing room now.

Short is so stupid giving him a four year contract and compared to Gus Poyet he is not in the same class. He was a good manager but Short failed to support him.

Hopefully some chinese will buy the club and get rid of Short and the clowns he has surrounded himself with.

Your dead right Bob Moyes has made colossal errors and the last time I heard him being interviewed he said that the fourth transfer window he will get it right.

He will not be at Sunderland at the next transfer window.

Sam told him how the side was setup and he has taken no notice. The two quick full backs with three centre halfs.

He has not signed Yedlin instead this Spanish guy and I never saw him cross the half way line against Everton.

The deal was setup to sign Micha Richards but Moyes knocked it on the head.

The biggest mistake and I know we do not have huge sums to spend because Short has put the club in £138 million debt which is another story.

Mario Balotelli was offered to Sunderland but Moyes said no

Niklas Bendtner but Moyes said no

Instead he signs Anichebe who has scored 3 goals in his last 60 games. He says he knows him so is that why he has signed him?

I heard three weeks ago that Moyes was going to walk and Short had to make a phone call to get him to stay.

Moyes has cocked it up completely and the natives are getting restless and I do not blame them

Short either has to sell up or increase the shareholding to clear the debt and free up transfer funds. Moyes should never have been given a 4 year contract and it is all going to end in tears.

The situation is that Short through his own stupidity and the idiots who he has appointed like Byrne and Hutchinson, Bain, we are £138 million in debt.

There is a personal loan to Short £50 million and £80 million debt with a bank.

Short has 3 options,

1. Continue running like a corner shop which will mean relegation and the value of the club drop

2.Increase shareholding and clear the debt and generate money to spend.

3. sell the club which would be my option and become the recluse that Short is in Hawaii and get new owners with ambition

Also we could have signed Ballotelli on a free transfer and he has gone to Nice and is on only £20K per week

Niklas Bendtner is available out of contract and that is who Moyes should sign and we know he is a good player.

Regarding a goalkeeper I would resign Steve Harper as back up to to the young lad.
